Starting stages, rebuilt PDF exports, and your own invite text

Put added candidates straight into the stage they belong in, choose exactly what goes into a candidate PDF, and write the description that lands in the calendar invite. Job pages follow the job's language, and a RecMan move now brings the whole pool.

Candidates you add yourself can skip the review column, PDF exports let you pick each section and how much of it to include, and the calendar invite says what you want it to say.

New

  • Choose the starting stage for candidates you add. Adding someone by hand, in bulk, from the talent pool, from search results or through the Chrome extension, you can now drop them into an in-progress stage on the job instead of Ready for review. Vouch remembers your pick per job, and if that stage is later removed it falls back to Ready for review. Offer and Hired aren't on the list. Candidates you invite to claim their profile still start as pending.
  • Write the calendar invite yourself. Booking links and interview stages have a rich-text field for the invite description, with variables for the candidate and the job. It goes into the calendar event and the booking emails. Booking links also get a separate description that candidates see on the booking page while they pick a time.
  • Team sections, styled your way. Team sections on job pages can show photos as rounded squares, circles or squares, small beside the text or large above it. In the editor you edit members in place, drag them into order and duplicate a member from its menu. Contact details now show as visible links.
  • Moving from RecMan brings the whole pool. When we move you over from RecMan, the import now covers your candidate pool too, with each person's application history, comments, interviews and references.

Improved

  • PDF exports, rebuilt. The download dialog has one checkbox per section, and some sections ask a follow-up once ticked: the AI evaluation for this job only or including other processes, reviewer evaluations as scores or scores with notes, and comments as pinned or all. Pinned comments lead the PDF. Sections with nothing to show are left out. People who can only see pinned comments export the pinned ones plus their own, and can no longer pin or unpin.
  • Job pages speak the job's language. The public job page and application form now use the language the job is written in, whatever language the visitor's browser prefers.
  • Templates carry their reply-to. Apply a message template that has a reply-to address and the draft picks it up. The From line shows where replies will go. A template without one clears the reply-to the draft had.
  • Evaluations open on the full history. A candidate profile now opens evaluations across every stage, so earlier rounds are in view from the start.
  • Rescheduling a linked meeting is all or nothing. Move a meeting that lives in Google or Outlook and the calendar is updated first. If the provider refuses, nothing changes in Vouch. The optional email from Vouch is now labelled as an extra on top of any update your calendar sends, and title changes count as an update too.
  • Preset icons take your brand colour. The preset icons in text-grid sections on job pages render in the brand colour of the job or company, where they used to be black.
  • The inbox fits a phone. The inbox and message threads lay out properly on small screens.
  • Steadier AI search ranking. Scores from each batch of results are put on the same scale before candidates are sorted, so long result lists rank more consistently.
  • NAV publishing tells you what happened. When a job is still being processed at NAV or NAV rejects it, Vouch says so and shows NAV's reason.
  • Forwarded candidate replies arrive as plain email. When a candidate answers by email, the copy forwarded to you comes without Vouch branding, the same as messages going to candidates.

Fixed

  • Scheduled rejections from a bulk move went out at once. Pick a send time when moving candidates in bulk and the rejection emails now wait for it.
  • Moving someone to Hired drafted a message to them. Hired is an internal confirmation, so the candidate message now starts switched off. Turn it on if you want to send one.
  • Invites said "Join Google Meet" for Teams links. Booking and update emails now say "Join meeting".
  • A failed bulk move failed quietly. You now get an error message saying what went wrong.
