We've both done hiring in-house for ages. Recruiting product, design, engineering teams from scratch. Making every mistake that's possible to make, and a few wins along the way.
Then we started Vouch and spent the last few years talking to hundreds of recruiters, hiring managers and candidates. The job market shifted. Gen AI took off. Recruiter workflows changed overnight, new problems showed up faster than the tools could keep up.
We listened. Then we built. Not an AI sourcer bolted onto a 2015 ATS. An assistant and a brain, AI-native, bottom-up, for the recruiter as the day actually happens.
The boring stuff handled, quietly. The cognitive stuff served up with reasoning attached, your call to override. More time talking to humans. Less time fighting your tools.

Built for the candidate
We started on the candidate side, a passive-talent marketplace and an application experience that actually felt good to use. Same principle that's never left the product: the human at the centre.
- 2023–2024
Used on top of existing ATSes
Agencies kept their ATS and ran Vouch in parallel for sourcing and screening, and got more value out of Vouch than the tool they already paid for. That's when the wedge clicked.

AI got genuinely useful
We built a full AI-native recruiting product alongside hundreds of recruiters. One anchoring principle the whole way: the AI is the assistant, not the bureaucracy.

The agency operating layer on top of Vouch. ~1B online profiles searched from the brief. Offentlige søkelister native. An MCP server so any AI agent can work the same data with the same evidence and permissions.
