At VG Lab, hiring happens alongside product work. They don’t hire often, but when they do, the roles are specialist and the process needs to work – without too much process overhead or dedicated recruiting support.

Candidates could be sourced directly from LinkedIn, resurfaced from existing talent pools or handled from inbound applications, then reviewed through sharp summaries that made screening fast and consistent. Shortlisting was a breeze compared to before. Decisions was made with far less back-and-forth.
Communication stopped being a bottleneck. Follow-ups and rejections were quicker to handle, so momentum wasn’t lost in writing and rewriting messages.
